Oriental dance is very much rooted in South America than what people think.
In fact, if you analyze all the movements that are made in the South American dances, 80% of the movements of Salsa and Samba as an example, are of Arab origin, there are people who believe it comes from the the slaves brought from Africa, but in Africa nonewhere are dances danced with the hips in an ondulant way, just Bellydance from Egypt (North East Africa).
So if you get to investigate the Spanish history, you will find that the so-called “Discovery of America” was held just on the same dates the end of Al Andalus, and a few centuries after the expulsion of the Moriscos, who guess where they went to? part to South Armérica and other part to North Africa.
The dance that was danced in the Al Andalus was a merger with Arab and indigean dances from the Iberian Peninsula, that is, first the Phoenicians more than 3,000 years ago, after the Egyptians with the Muslim invasion, merging with the Iberians and the Celts.
Therefore it’s called Al Andalus Dance, and not Belly Dance, but when it iwas exported to South America (which is where they took the Spaniards who run away from Spain due to discrimination and afterwards expulsion), merged with the dances of the South American natives, becoming current South American dances
Salsa and Samba dances are derived from Oriental Dance originally from Egypt
I mean, I think the possibility that people have the right to study oriental dance (so-called Belly) with someone who knows very well how to do it, with many fans and above in Spanish, would be publicadísimo all groups, so that those who want to learn Spanish through one of the most influential and oldest in the world Dance, have that possibility.
So in this blog I make an announcement that the BBDC course will be taught in Spanish and English!
